About Me
From the time I was a child, I've been interested in history. Since about that same time, I've also been a believer in the Gospel and the truth of the Bible. As I got older, I became more interested in why I believed the Bible to be true. While my faith was real, I lacked the reasoned defense that Scripture talks about. So I began to seek answers to that question and many others. Through research and study, I found the answers that I sought and, in the end, became affirmed in my belief more than ever before.

Convinced that Christianity is true and that Jesus was who He and His followers claimed Him to be, I believe it is the essential hope for our world today. I believe the ideas and values that have shaped Western Civilization for the better over most of the last 2,000 years find their root in the teachings of Jesus and the Bible. They have formed the basis of American government, and a sound obedience to them is the way to the peaceful and prosperous flourishing of mankind. It is this perspective from which I think and write.
This project is the outcome of my personal studies of the Bible, history, politics, and culture, and my contribution to the conversation of how they all relate to one another in our world today. I know there are others that are out there asking the same questions and searching for the same answers. I believe there is objective truth that can be found if we are willing to seek it, and I seek the truth because I believe it is essential to building a better world. As Jesus said, "If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."
